Closure Selection

Selection of the right type of closure is an integral part of package development.  It is difficult to imagine a jar of pickles, for example, having anything but a simple lug closure.  There are as many other types of closures, however, as there are applications.  They can be metal or plastic, depending on the product.  Squeeze mustard jars have a spout dispenser while many squeeze mayonnaise jars today  have a wide slot for consumer ease of application.
